She's electric

Here they are! The pants have made an appearance.

I never thought in a million years I would wear electric blue pants, but here I am (and loving it).

I was talking with a friend today who complimented me on the pants. She was quick to claim that she could NEVER pull off a color this bold, and her comment got me thinking about confidence in fashion.

For me, a love for fashion and blogging, and the subsequent shift in my style, has helped me to find new confidence in myself.

Whether rocking new red patent pumps, a perfect blazer with shoulder pads, or that pair of new brightly colored denim, a bold, fashion-forward outfit that you feel good in forces you take on the level of confidence expected from the wearer of such statements.

Not your mom's blue jeans

These are not your average blue jeans! I picked these beauties up for a cool $23 at Target (of all places) and am so excited to pair them with black and white tops and black boots. Who knows, if I'm feeling adventurous I may dive head first into the color-blocking trend and pair them with turquoise or yellow!
